Dental implants are becoming increasingly popular to fill in those empty spaces caused by missing teeth. Implants are made of titanium and are placed into the jaw bone in the same position as the other teeth. After the implant has been placed, usually at least 3-6months is needed for healing time as the jaw bone needs time to precisely fuse the implant into place like real roots of our teeth.
After the healing time has passed, the final implant crown is placed on top of the implant. The implant crown can be tooth colored or gold.
